Okta Headquarters

Okta relocated their headquarters to a 10-floor building in San Francisco. We designed a stack strategy that showcased Okta’s culture by designing visual representations of their values as feature walls on every floor.

Client: Okta
Location: San Francisco, CA
Design Team: Jimin Lee, Melanie Tiongson, Kelsey Kawaguchi, Tim Huey
Service: Experiential Graphic Design, Branding, Logo Design

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS

  • Creating connections between 10 floors for employees to have equal experiences while creating an identifiable sense of direction within the building.

  • Reinforce Okta’s Brand language and story

  • Intentional designs to add to and not distract from the architectural lighting feature throughout the entire stack

Coordinating with the architectural LED light embedded in the wall, custom graphics highlight this feature.

Dimensional art pieces on each floor lobby represent various okta values.

Through an extraction of Okta’s aura in color and materials, this feature graphic is a visual representation of one of Okta’s diversity initiatives.

A custom logo was needed for Okta’s ‘Aura Bar’ speakeasy. The logo incorporated graphic language that hints at the speakeasy’s hidden in plain sight nature as well as Okta’s own brand language.
