DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS

How might we improve the booking experience for users while considering business goals?

TYPES OF USERS

I decided to focus on one user group in order to prioritize defining the design opportunities: Students.

DEFINE

USER INTERVIEW GOALS
5 user interviews with 1-5 years of pottery experience including students, regular studio members, and a pottery teacher

  • I want to understand the motivations and goals of users when they schedule additional time in the studio.

  • What motivated them to join a pottery studio?

  • I want to understand the pain points of users what they do in this situation.

  • I want to understand their experience of attending studio hours

  • I want to understand how to improve their experience for this entire process.

VISUAL DESIGN

Next Steps + Reflections

Given more time, I'd like to explore the following items:

  • Study the user journey to include Studio Members

  • Feature to sign up for future classes and workshops

  • Different ways to book times with connected friends

  • Use of micro-interactions
